What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I completed the construction of my main house that I had started with the first transfer. I decided to construct the house since my former one was grass-thatched and it was terribly leaking on us.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that currently, I live more comfortably in an iron-roofed house where I am not being rained on. My former one was grass-thatched and therefore it was really leaking on us especially during long-rain seasons-this time, life could be very difficult.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I used 4000 KES buy poles and timber for constructing my new house.I then bought a sack of dry maize at a cost of 3000 KES. The balance was all spent on buying school uniforms and paying school levies for my child.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy the moment I received the money because I had the urge of buying building materials which will be used for building my new house.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is source of income and food. My family relied so much on farming for food but with the current drought and famine, my family is going through an extreme hunger and financial constraints.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the morning because I get to see a new day, an assurance of God's love to me. I also feel happy seeing my children leave for school.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'll be able to buy construction materials so as to put up a better and modern house. I'll as well use part of the transfer to settle my children's school fees, this will for sure result to better and quality education to my young ones.
