What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very happy to be visited by a Givedirectly official today. I will use this money to make some developments on my home. I will buy cement to make a new floor of my house since the floor is made of sand. I will also buy bricks to build a new fence to replace the grass fence. On top of that, I plan to start my business again. I used to sell fish whose profits I used to buy a car and a motorcycle but I made losses and the business died. I am certain that if I receive this cash I will start the business again and make more money to take care of my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When I was passing through some difficulties my cow gave birth which brought joy in my life. That was in September. As the livestock multiply, I will sell them in future to make more money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenges I am facing is lack of money. I don't have a stable source of income. I sometimes order fish but it cannot be compared to the way I used to before. I have a car and a motorcycle which developed faults and I am failing to repair them. In the past I used to use them as Taxis to make money.
