What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school fee for my child in primary school, bought a bed, a sofa set, replaced the windows with better steel ones, am still remaining with about 10,000 KES which I want to use to start a saloon business for my wife.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I managed to pay huge fee balances for my two siblings who sitting their fourth form examination last year and I kept wondering how I would be able the pay the fee arrears until GiveDirectly came.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, GiveDirectly do well by giving the money in three transfers; this is because if a very big amount of cash is given to someone who initially did not have any plans, then there are high chances of the money being misused.
