What did you spend your third transfer on?
I grew up in a rural area where there was no electricity. When I came of age and it was time for me to get married I got married to my husband who lives in a rural area as well and there homestead does not have electricity. All my life I have wished to have electricity in my home so when GiveDirectly transfer came I thought it was the perfect time for me to fulfill one of my life greatest desire. The third transfer I got from GiveDirectly I used in bringing electricity to my home. The remaining part of the money I used to buy a television with so that I can be updated on the current ongoing events in the world. I am now so happy because I can watch news and at the same time my children are able to do their school homework without so much hustle.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy iron sheets and poles to enlarge my house which was quite small and the family was squeezing inside. I then bought new seats to put in the house and also a goat and a sheep to rear in the farm. The rest of the amount was spent on buying food in the house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that my family is now very comfortable living in the bigger house. We have enough space to keep our belongings and for the children to sleep.
