How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
would have been doing piece works in other peoples fields in order to provide food for my family.

In my opinion GD is doing a great job helping poor people like us and there is no favoritism , everyone is being reached.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and filled with joy could not believe my eyes when i saw the message that i have gotten the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My family only ate porridge in the morning and lunch which was nsima in the late afternoon but now i am able to have tea in the morning and proper lunch and supper in the afternoon. My children are also looking good in the clothes that i have bought them.

I have spent the transfer on irom sheets, fertiliser, clothes and 2 bags of maize

What does receiving this money mean to you?
It means helping us in times of crisis since some businesses have been lost and it so difficult to find money..it will help my family to sustain our household by buying iron sheets and other necessities

Because of shortage of food,,mostly we are unhappy as a household..but sometimes we are happy as long as we have food..
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Not having enough money to buy food for her entire household
