What did you spend your third transfer on?
On food, school fees, house and pit latrine! I used my third transfer to buy food for my family because I had nothing to feed my family with and we were seriously starving due to a long drought in our area. I also paid school fees for my two children, finished my 2bed room house and I managed to construct a pit latrine which I did not have.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different after receiving transfer in a way that my family feeds well in a cleaner cemented and iron roofed house. All this would not happen if I had not received transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to select and help the very poor people in our community and give us free money to decide for ourselves. Everything about you GiveDirectly is well done.
