I struggle to support my family because we live in a hardship area. My meager earnings are often spent on food. As a result, my children are always sent home because of their school fees arrears. I, therefore, spent $20 on school fees for my six children immediately after receiving my recent transfer. They are all in primary school. We consume five jerrycans of water daily in our household and a jerrycan of water currently goes for KES 25. With the last three months' transfers, I paid KES 6000 in school to reduce the arrears my children owed the school. KES 3000 I spent on water for our household use.

Through the organisation I have managed to keep the children in school and also ensure there is always meal which are quite important basic needs. The financial assistance has assisted massively on our day to day needs which I an very grateful for. I have nothing but compliments for the organisation and the work it does.

When I got the transaction from the organisation I immediately went ahead to settle some of the debts I had and this included tuition fee. I paid school fees for three of my children worth KES 1,500 because the administration was threatening to kick them out of class if the debt were not to be settled and I did not want my children missing school, that is why I paid as soon as the money came in. I have also been planning to venture into poultry farming so I decided to buy three hens for starters which were worth KES 1,050. Lastly I used KES 280 buy two kilograms of sugar and I still have KES 170 on me that I will probably use on getting laundry detergent.
