How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I managed to renovate the house, there's improved dressing and feeding. Before, my house was in a bad state especially the wall, and feeding was only once in a day.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving money directly that enabled us to have food, get medical treatment, buy household items like clothes; and I don't see anything it hasn't done well in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to renovate my house, paid hospital bills to treat my broken arm and a stroke which affected a relative, to buy food, and leissure especially alcohol.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I'm living a much more healthy and happy life always.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved the money, I felt very excited. This is because I have been a widow struggling to make ends meet, so receiving this money was a big rescue to the dire situation I was in.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer to renovate my house, buy household goods and food. I also spent it on medical.

Receiving this money means to buy cow that can provide me with milk. I also intend to renovate my house with the transfers since it's leaking.

The happiest part of the day is afternoon while chatting interesting stories with neighbours.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of money for buying a cow and renovating my house.
