How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goals was to change the roof over my house. The roof of the house that I was living in was very old and was leaking.I have12 children and some of them were not in school. Farming was my means of income for my family and I until give-directly came to my rescue and give me this transfer fund. now I am building a house with zinc roof and all of my children are now in school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly did well by giving me transfer fund to enable me live under a zinc roof house. Give directly does not do well because they cannot accept gifts from us recipients
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spend my recent transfer on paying my children school fees and bought planks for the improvement of my house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My previous goal was to roof my current house which the process will soon began because all materials are on hand. My new goal now is to erect a new structure at a different location, which I'm also working on.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
For me, Give Directly does everything good, but they don't accept the least thing (water) from us. That attitude from them can really make me feel bad, even if they won't take anything but at least water is enough. Sometimes their staff run out of water and you can see the thirst in them, but when you offer them water, they refuse it and say thanks, that's really not fair.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My recent transfer was spent on additional building materials such as zinc, nail, planks and etc. The remaining money was directed to my children Christmas clothes and food.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, I have planned to construct a three bed room house. This was my planned before I received the transfer from Givedirectly, but upon receiving the transfer, I have also decided to roof my current house and extend my farm in addition to the planned made before receiving the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly tried to help us improve our living condition and I am happy of what Givedirectly is doing. Some of us had a great ambitions, dream and vision, but never had the finances to purchase the material resources to excute our plans, but with Givedirectly cash assistance program. we are now excuting some of what that were planned and even going beyond.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am yet to cashout my transfer due to limited cash from where we normally go to cashout. I have planned to use my transfer to construct a new house in addition to what I already have. I will also change my current house roof and use little portion of my transfer to extend my farm.
