In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Gd does well in giving cash to recipients and letting them decide on what spend it on.
What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent 40000 KES of my third transfer on both renovating and cementing my house. I bought a bag of maize at 5200 KES and spent the rest of the money on buying food.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved in that if it wasn't for Gd I wouldn't have managed to be where I am now. I now have a descent house, I own a television set and my children too are going to school without being sent back home because I cleared their fee.
