I have enough food for my family we have new clothes, plus I have kitchen utensils that's what has changed in my life

keep calling our phones even when the network is bad is the one thing that GD did well and I can't think of anything they didn't do well

I bought maize for food, clothes for every member of the family, farm inputs like fertilizer and seeds and I also payed Labour's who worked on my farm because I was sick and I couldn't have managed to do all the farming activities

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was happy when I saw the money transfer. For along time there was a reason to smile.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
In my house, I would lack almost everything be it food, clothes, a descent place to place to sleep. Now I have bought clothes, I can buy food for the family and I have a proper place to sleep.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was sleeping on a mat, now I have bought a martless, I have bought iron sheets which I will put to my house with time. I have bought maize of bags to feed my family, clothes for my children and myself.
