What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
When I receive this transfer, I purchase a dairy cow at USD 526 which will provide us with milk for both selling and domestic use so that we can meet some basic needs. I will also use USD 789 to re- innovate my house so that we can sleep comfortably. To also have my grand children go to school regularly and perform well, I will use USD 263 to clear for school requirements for a full year. Then the balance of USD 263 will cater for feeding and medical bills when fall sick again.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I took some time without becoming sick. This really helped me do cultivate and I was able to get food for my grand children which never happened before where I had chronic illness and I could do any productive work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Being a widow and a very old woman, I face hardships to raise money for medical bills which has kept alot of pain whenever I fall sick. I also find it hard to pay school fees for my grand daughters who are always sent home for schools requirements yet l am unable to clear for them in time hence making them attend school irregularly and register poor performance in class.
