Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is better because I managed to access better treatment since I was poisoned. I would not have managed to pay that medical bill on my own. Secondly, I have acquired things I never had like solar energy which is source of light in my house. In the past, I used Kerosen lamp and iproduced smoke which was not good for our health.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received money, I felt happy because I had never held such an amount of money in my life.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought solar energy worth UGX 105000, clothes/household goods ( mattress, utensils and beds sheets) worth UGX 233,000, treatment worth UGX 400,000, bought building materials (iron sheets and 2 trips of sand) worth UGX 692,000, bought food worth UGX 275,000 and rented farm land worth UGX 200,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will buy cement, iron sheets, bricks and sand to complete my permanent house. Part of the money if there is a balance, will be used to buy household items like; beddings and cooking utensils. Currently we have a shortage of household items because the number of family members has grown and for example, the current saucepans cannot cook enough food at once.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is Lunch time. It is the time when I'm with the children at home and also my neighbours like visiting me at this time of the day. They come to chat with me in my home.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship currently is lack of adequate accomodation for the family. The house we are living in is small due to the increase in the number of family members.
