What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am grateful to Give Directly for this money and it will greatly improve my life. I want to use the money to rennovate my house by roofing with ironsheets. I have been staying in a grass thatched house for many years and it is now a chance to have a better roofed house. I also want to use part of the money to buy 5 bags of maize to take me through the next harvesting season.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is in the afternoon because that is the time i usually have my first meal of day. When i wake up in the morning, i have to find some work to do in order to get some money which we use to buy relish.i have to be working all morning and in the afternoon that is the time i rest and have my meal.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of enough food to feed my family is the main hardship i face every year. My husband is a fisherman and he spends most of the time at the lake fishing but he contributes too little in taking care of the family. I have to do casual labour to find some money to buy food.
