What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a cupboard for my utensils. I also spent part of the money to pay school fees for my nieces and nephews who are in secondary school. I also bought some food using the remaining amount.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have been able to pay school fees for my orphaned nephew and niece in secondary school.I could have not have made it if there was no money from GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly does well by giving money directly to its selected recipients. This is unlike the other NGOS I see around whose aids goes has to go through many hands before reaching the intended person which promotes corruption. I have not seen anything they do not do well in.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy building materials that I used to construct a new house. My old house was almost collapsing after it was soaked in water being that where we stay is swampy. I also paid school fees for my two grandchildren in secondary school. I am happy they are now in school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is seeing my orphaned grandchildren got to school. I am positive that they will clear their secondary education. I also have a more steady house. I am not scared of the house collapsing any time soon.

I felt so excited when I received the money because it would help me in paying school fee for my children.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to furnish my house because I'm tired of smearing the house as it requires more strength when myself I'm so weak to involve in heavy duties.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I used not to have seats in my house and we used to sit down on the floor but out of my hard work, I involved myself in some savings group and managed to buy nice seats, I'm proud of myself and we sit comfortably.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I used to be well health wise but unfortunately became ill, antheritis had me down and rendered me weak. I cannot do any work that requires more strength to succeed.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm usually in pain and feels happy during afternoon hours when the pain goes down, my body aches when it's cold and I only feel relieved when it's sunny.
