I also bought utensils and a bag for storing my clothes at 3000 KES. I used the rest of the money on buying timber that I'm planning to use in building.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has improved because I have managed to get most of the house holds I didn't know I would own in my life. I now feel happy and proud as a woman.

I spent my first transfer on buying a half bag of maize for my family's consumption 1600 KES .I paid school fees for my three children who are in primary school 1200 KES. I bought a mattress 2500 KES and 12 pieces of cushion for my chairs 3300 KES. I also bought clothes for my family 1800 KES.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfer, I felt very happy since on that day I didn't have any money even having the hope of a meal wasn't part of my thoughts. I am thankful to GiveDirectly for giving hope and comfort to the less-privileged household at the community level.

The biggest hardship that I have faced is lack of money to educate my children. Paying rent every month is also a great challenge.

My happiest moment is during the day since I meet friends and share ideas and this relieve s for me stress.

Receiving this money will help me buy building materials to build my own house. I will also start a business to sustain my family.
