What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The first installment we want to renovate our house, putting on a nice roof because it rains inside and build a kitchen outside because we currently cook in the same room our children sleeps in. We also plan to buy beds , matress and clothes for our children. The second installment we plan to buy a land for $300 and buy ourselves clothes and the balance we plan to buy livestocks, we want to buy a goat for $60 and a pig for $120. Receiving this means living happily, it will help us move out of poverty and it will allow us to own livestocks and a land of our own which will help us fulfil our needs and pay for our medical insurance and live healthier.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past 6 months none of our children have been sick and we are all healthy and this brought happiness to use. Our business of selling avacado and banana juice have been expanding little by little and this allowed us to gain money to use in our daily expenses and we have been able to save from it. Our children are able to get an education thanks to what we gain and they are able to get all school materials that is required in their schooling and currently we no longer live in the dark at night because we have received solar panels that we are using.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The place we work in is not fertile , we don't get enough harvest because we don't have fertiliser to use. To be able to get fertiliser we have to herd livestocks from others to get what to use. We have been in a sunny season and we were not able to produce what to eat for a while. Another challenge we face is having a small house for our family size , we are a big family of 7 people living in one house of two rooms, our children have to sleep all together uncomfortably and some sleeps on the floor because we lack enough facilities to buy them beds to use.
