What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on enrolling my children in form one. They had completed their form four but did not have hopes at all of continuing with their education. Even as I speak, I feel so happy motivated to participate more in GD programs. Besides the school fee, I purchased bedding that has greatly improved my life. I currently sleep well more than what people expected.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Were it not for the transfers, my children would have dropped out of school at primary level. Secondly, I would still be the poor Serfin that I was before, walking here and there as I beg for help.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well in its promises without any delays or failures. The fact that I could count on the transfer after every 2 months was something worth appreciating.
