How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have food this year because I have fertilizer which I usually do not have. I am happy to because I not worry about food
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
With GiveDirectly there was no favouritism as we all denifited from the programme in the same manner.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought iron sheets for the house the house that i plan on building. I purchased 24 iron sheets in total. I also bought 3 bags of fertilizer for my fields. I went on a bought maize for food as I had run out of maize. I did not have any decent clothes to wear so I bought myself some clothes and blankets.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and thankful to Give Directly for the money. Most of the problems that i was facing before have now come to an end and am a happy person together with my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Most of the things have changed for the better, we are sleeping on a good place and we are now eating healthy meals everyday. I was very excited to finally afford a good meal on New Year's Day with my children.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning to build an iron roofed house and so far i have bought iron sheets, nails,wood among other materials. I also bought several bags of maize to be food secure in this period and for my children to be having porridge too in the morning before school. Some money went towards buying them uniforms since they didn't have before.
