Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sleeping at the village when the noise form the community dwellers woke me up that afternoon. They were rejoicing about the transfer sent, I immediately checked my account and I saw mine. I also started rejoicing and giving thanks to God Almighty as well as GD for the assistance. I felt impressed because my help is on its way. I have been getting credits and even saving money to have a shop with small business but it has not being able to establish me at all. With the intervention of GD transfer or grant I will achieve the goal.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference GD transfer has made in my life is, I currently have iron roofing sheets for the construction of my incoming shop and at the same time I also have a Small table market which will later be transformed into a shop.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The transfer received, I was able to purchase iron roofing sheets to build my shop and at the same time I started a small table market. As I will be collecting the other transfers, I intend to build my shop. I also used portion of the transfer to start a small table market which will later be transferred into the shop when I build it.

For the past six months I have not had any joy or happiness because I went in the bush to cut stick and I felled on my back, I was seriously injured but I tell God thank you for life , but upon hearing about Givedirectly and the kind of help that they are doing for poor families around Liberia and been apart of this program I'm very excited so far that's my only happiness .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Like I was saying I was making business before but my business broke down and now I do not have money so that's my main challenge for now.
