Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My plan is to expand my farm and plant more tea trees to increase the revenue when the harvesting time comes. Besides that, I also intend to venture into cattle business since tea farming takes long before realizing the profits I can survive on revenue earned through cattle business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Before GD came to the picture, I was a casual worker helping neighbors with the activities on their farms. Working in people's farms motivated me that I would one day own a farm. This did not take long before GD came in issuing transfers and I did not think twice I invested my savings and the transfers I received into tea farming and today I own a tea farm. Since my farm is still starting, I have not stopped doing casual work because the wages paid do help me with the day to day operations at home.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months with the revenue earned, I plan to build myself a house. I have been spending at a friend's house for the longest time now and I feel like it is time to man up and have my own place. This will teach me responsibility and I will also be getting ready to have a family in the near future.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I now have a new goal to purchase a motorcycle. The operational cost of my business has been a bit higher due to the transportation fees I had been paying whenever I am going for the orders. With the savings plan I started, I am foreseeing a great milestone ahead which I am much energized to work towards.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the improved performance of my business. It has really been hard trying to keep it growing at the same time maintaining the customers I had since at some point I would run short of the stock on demand making most of my customers to shift to the bigger shops which never strained to restock theirs. I got into a saving plan which demanded a lot of discipline from me and within no time I was back in the track, stocking every valuable which can be in demand by the customers. The timely stocking brought back all my customers and currently, the business is doing so well which is a great thing to have happened in my life within the last four months.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
With the current plans going well, I have a great expectation that in the next six months, I will have increased my farm under production and also I will have purchased the motorcycle since I am currently expecting a bumper harvest from my fields.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Farming effectively has made me one of the few empowered youths in the village. I have about 15 chickens that are already at the stage of laying eggs. I expect to start earning a daily income from selling the eggs. I also have started learning to trade in livestock especially cows from my father's expertise. I use part of the money to contribute to buying an animal to be sold at a profit and hence I get a share of the income. My life is currently different because I can afford my basic needs and those of my family.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to build a new house. The one I live in currently is a family house and we are too many siblings sharing the same room. I want to secure some privacy by building my own. The house is also in a very bad state. We have repaired it several times until it can't be repaired anymore. I always feel embarrassed about this ugly structure it is only that I can't do anything about it since I don't have enough money to build a new one. I feel lucky to be one of the beneficiaries of Give Directly because I can now afford to buy building materials. I am planning to buy roofing sheets and other necessary materials so that by the time four months elapses, I will be living on my own
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I spent part of the money I received from Give Directly to buy farm inputs such as cabbage seeds, planting fertilizer, pesticides, and fungicides. Initially, I could not afford to buy any of these and I would end up harvesting almost nothing. The crops are doing so well and I now have hope of making good money from the proceeds of this project in the next two months. I know that am now on track towards redeeming my financial abilities courtesy of Give Directly
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will have improved because I will be living in my own private house. In addition to this, I will have bought a dairy heifer from the farm proceeds. This will eventually lead to milk production hence an income. I will no longer lack money to use on my needs like clothes and even money to invest more.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The biggest difference in my life is owning a cow. I had to pay for it using every transfer from the last four months until I cleared it. By the end of this year, I will be milking it. I will sell milk and use the proceeds in building a house. I need a new house because I currently live in an old house that was left for me by my parents as they relocated to another village. It is old and small.

The biggest difference in the last four months is obtaining
a good source of income. I have established a tea nursery bed using the transfers I received. I bought polythene bags and made the nursery bed using the money to buy the tea cuttings to establish into seedlings. While the seedlings are growing, I am using the money to buy pesticides and fungicides to take good care of them. I also bought fertilizers for topdressing the crops. When they are ready, I will be selling them to earn money them and plant the rest on my farm. I will be making money from the sales. This is my current investment. I am investing the cash from the transfers so that I earn money from it in the future. My future is secure because of the transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I will have been leaving in a new house. we leave in the old house that my family moved from. It is derelict. It is also small and sharing it with my young brothers who are still in school is not enjoyable. In the next six months, I will be in my own house that will be bigger and nicer. I will also be making money from tea seedlings that I have in a tea nursery.
