What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent a big portion of my third transfer on paying school fee for my daughter who was pursuing her medical course in a public university. Being a micro-farmer, the little income I generated from my farming activity had been the main source of school fee for the daughter.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Were it not for these transfers, I would not have managed to register my daughter for a medical cause in the university where she is right now. Similarly, I would not have constructed a permanent house but would have rather stayed in temporary one that I had before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
