How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't having new goals before receiving this transfer, i was able to setup a new business for myself in this town, with this level of business that I'm doing,i will not fully depends on farming in this town.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
By giving free transfer to me in such conditions is like I'm dreaming, this is the very first time for me to get such amount .Nothing give directly do that is bad all is good to me.

I was able to Purchase goods for my new business, I'm now an business woman, before i was just a farmer living from hand to mount in this town.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life with GiveDirectly had been so exciting and improving. Before GiveDirectly transfer I never had a thought of building my own house. Presently I am staying in my Aunt's house and now she asking me to move out of her house. With this problem, my goal is to built my own house. On that note I used money from my previous transfer and bought a bundle of zinc. Now with this recent transfer I also used a portion of the money and bought another bundle of zinc. Furthermore I have decided to start a little dry goods business using the remaining money to enable always have access to cash to carry on my project.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has been doing very well from the beginning of this program until now. They have shown a great level of professionalism and transparency in reaching out to us the needy. Their love for humanity is very much commendable. We are very fortunate to be part of this program. In my judgement I have not seen anything that is not well done by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my goal of building my own house, I have started buying the materials bit by bit. Firstly, I bought a bundle of zinc using money from my previous transfer. However with my recent transfer, I used a portion of the money and bought additional two bundles one bundle of zinc with two packs of zinc nail. Interestingly I used the remaining money and I have start up a little business that will serve as additional source of income for my family and my building project. Thanks to GiveDirectly for this super financial assistance.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at home bathing my baby when my phone alarmed me. Upon reading my text I saw the sum of $35652 from GD. I was over-excited because I see this as a miracle.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The difference in my daily life since I started receiving money from GD is my kids and I have three square meals a day. I am a single mother with two kids my husband and I separated when my son was a baby. Life has been so hard forme. I struggled to make a farm to send my children to school and to feel them. Am happy to be a beneficiary of this program. My life is picking up gradually.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
For the money I received from Give Directly, I used a portion to pay for my children's school fees. I also used some of the money to pay for four bundles of zinc. The balance money was used to buy two bags of rice.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I am qualify for this program and I received money from Givedirectly I am going to build my house because I am living in my brother's house for and secondly I am going to start a business to support my children in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What really brought great joy in my heart was that my father was seriously sick at the point of death, but God been by his side he survived,that makes me happy but upon hearing about Givedirectly and the kind of things they are doing for the people of Rivercess and I been part of this program today that is the biggest happiness ever in my life this few days.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current challenge right is money problem, I do not have money and here if you do not work for people you can't get money and I do not have and supporter so that's my challenge.
