What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the whole of the third transfer to build my own home since l was staying at the shopping center where l was paying rent, l can now use the money to do other developments.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I contributed half my transfer to a fishing group we started with two other friends (also recipients of GD) and we used the money to buy a boat and fishing nets as a source of income through fishing, I bought seats with the other half of the transfer.

The biggest difference in my daily life is having a source of income through which I am able to provide for my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on repaying a debt that I had in our savings group, bought a mattress since the previous one was old and used most of the amount on purchasing a bag of maize for the family consumption.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I felt very happy because I knew that I would be able to purchase food, a mattress and even repaid a dept from our savings group which was overdue.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is being unable to pay rent and the landlord kicking me out of the house together with my household.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When I have good catch and get paid well in the morning, I feel so happy as I am sure to buy food and pay rent for my household.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money brings with it a lot of hope and peace. I would wish to construct my own house so that I may be relieved from the burden of paying rent. I would also want to start small business that would be a sustainable source of income.
