What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on repairing my house to the standards deserving a responsible home. I also bought a cow for rearing at home and the balance, I use for my upkeep as well as investment in the garden.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have a responsible house which is deserving and which promotes healthy living while I can also access basic needs with less stress.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly does well to give transfers transparently and using staff who are not from the community to do the recruitment.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to plaster my house so that i can sleep in a nice looking house. I also bought a sack of posho since we were suffering from famine.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Not having to worry about anything to do with finances due to givedirectly transfers is the biggest difference in my daily life.

Oh yes, bricks and clothes! I used my first transfer to buy bricks for a 2bedroom house because the one i am having now is smaller and and about to fall on me.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at home at night and I received money from GiveDirectly on my phone. I was happy!

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on plastering my house and also buy livestocks like a cow so as to take milk tea and also earn some daily income by selling the milk.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is educating my one and only child. I am so proud of it because many failed but i managed through all the hustle.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is not having a chance to give birth to many children. This gave me stress and also got pressure as God gave me only one child in life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning waking up still a live.
