Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was overwhelmingly happy when I received my transfer thinking of all of the things I had planned to buy with it
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has greatly improved. My children are especially happy now as they have school uniforms like the rest of their peers. They are no longer missing classes or being sent back home for not having school uniforms
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my transfer on iron sheets to replace the current roof over my house as it drips. I also bought a mattress, two blankets, maize, and school uniforms for my children. Initially I would send my children to school knowing that they would be sent back home for not having school uniforms but there was really nothing I could do at the time
