How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different in the last four months in that I have a new sofa set in my house. I no longer beg for seats as I used to before the transfers. Since I did not have any source of income, I was not able to buy seats for my family. It was embarrassing for me and my family because we would beg for what I feel I should not beg for. That was the only way out. When I received my second transfer, I used it to buy a sofa set so that I stop bothering my neighbours with begging for seats anymore.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next six months is to buy at least two cows. I would want to have as many cows as I can which is a very big investment for me. I know through this, I will be able to sell some to raise money for other needs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
It was my dream to build a permanent house when I finally have my own home. Due to my low income from farming, I was not able to raise money to buy building materials required to build a permanent. I had to settle with what I had which was building an iron-roofed house, mud-walled. When I received my first transfer, I went and bought building materials such as sand, cement, and paint which I used to plaster and paint my house. Right now, I am living the dream because of GD transfers.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next four months, I wish to buy more cows which I will use in paying dowry for my wife. I have never paid dowry for my wife whom I got married to three years ago. This is very shameful and would want to handle this issue once and for all.
