Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was serving as a helper on my friend's motor bike. I have not been able to see such amount of money from anyone or since I started ridding motorbike for my friend. It's through the helper work I do I feed my little daughter and my girlfriend. He can take almost every single cent that I will make for the time that I will ride for stating that he will pay me at the end of the month but his promises can not be fulfilled. Due to this I was so much happy and filled with joy when I received the money from Givedirectly. I was happy because I have gain the opportunity to buy myself a new motorbike to sustain my family and send my daughter to school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life right now is that I am very much happy. My child is in school and I am going to own my personal motorbike to raise more money for future used. Thanks to God Almighty for GiveDirectly for making me feel better than ever before.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have a six year old daughter who I have not been able to send to school because of financial problems. I am ridding motorbike for my friend but I am not really making enough money that will send my kid to School and feed the family at the same time. So, when I received the money from Givedirectly, I decided to use portion of it to send her to school. Now, she is in the Day care in Timbo Kru Town. Why I am on my friend's motor bike, I have decided to save the other portion of the transfer while waiting for my second transfer to pay for my own motorbike.
