How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I had plans before receiving this money. I was thinking about building my small house right next to my family house but I never had money. I used to make cassava farm before my family and I eat or wear clothes. I'm very grateful for this money because I can eat more than two times every day I give all thanks to Give directly family.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I want to build a big house for my family because the one I am living in right now is too small, I also want to improve my farm so that it can keep raising money for my children school fees when GiveDirectly leaves our town.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I love GiveDirectly because whatever they say is what they will do, they have never lie to us and their manner of speaking during interviews is so kind and respectful. GiveDirectly is also giving us money without any bad motives attached to it, I have nothing bad to say about GiveDirectly because they are always good to me.

I will use my third transfer to buy zinc and some other house materials to start building my dream house. If any other money will remain, I will use it to improve my farm for more produces.

I feel fine because, I needed money to support my garden. So, l was so happy when I received the money.

In the past months,l was hustling very hard to get money to improve my life. But now, l am able to provide all of my garden materials and paying my daughter school fees. I am saving some of the money because, I will build my own house and live a better life.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" I Want to build my house here, though I am in my own house but it is very small and can not accommodate I and my family. When I build a bigger house sure we are okay with sleeping place. When I built my own house, and some money still remains, I will make business to enable me feed my children and send them to school."
What is the happiest part of your day?
" Nothing have made me happy, because two problems came our way. My son died and my husband died in the same year. This man you see now is my husband big who came to take care of me because our tradition says, " if your husband or wife passed, someone in the family can take care of you as a husband or wife."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
" I am really challenge for money, when you have money, all is well with you. We have to work hard on the farm before earning money. When money is available in the family, we can build our house, send the children to good schools and pay people to work on our farm."
