How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
A lot has been happening in my life lately bit the fact that I own different kinds of livestock makes the biggest change in my life. I am currently getting plenty liters of milk and my family has been enjoying the white tea. To add to that, I always sell the remaining liters to our neighbors and generate an income. This has enabled me to take good care of my family without much straining like I used to. We longer skip meals instead we are now taking two to three meals in a day. Also, my grandchildren are now studying peacefully without being disturbed like before because of school fees since nowadays I pay right on time.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I feel GiveDirectly has been offering us the best services and I must mention that it is a unique organization. First of all, the aid was in form of money and this granted us the opportunity to choose according to our heart desires. Also, the cash transfers were nonrefundable and unconditional unlike the other NGOs and this made it stood out
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spend part of my second transfer on buying some livestock more so three goats at KES 12700. These have been a well thoughtful asset that had desired to keep but I couldn't afford. I also bought some new pieces of bedsheets for my grandchildren together with some other decent clothes. Later on, I cleared school fees for them and they are now studying without any disturbances. With the remaining amount of money, I bought some foodstuff such as a bag of maize, vegetables, beans, and many more

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I learned that I had received my cash transfers at eight in the morning when was heading to the dam. I felt so excited and even decided to go back home and broke the good news to my family members. Honestly, this will forever be a memorable day in my life since I have never received such a huge amount of money ever since I was born.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have a dairy cow. I also consider it to be the biggest achievement I have acquired so far. This is because previously, I have been buying milk from my neighbors but now I am assured of getting milk for free. This will act as a surplus for my family's daily meal. Apart from that, I am planning to sell a few liters of the milk to my neighbors and I am optimistic I will earn a lot of money since milk is scarce in my village. This will enable me to meet my family's basic needs without any difficulties.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent part of my first transfer on buying livestock such as a dairy cow and an ox. This is what I have been longing to own for years but I could not afford it because of the poverty life that had stricken my household. I am positive that through them, I will achieve a lot. Also with the remaining amount of money, I bought enough foodstuffs such as maize floor, for my family that would take us to the harvesting season and some other items that I was lacking.
