Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to save money in a merry go round group to buy sheep. I intend to buy sheep because they are easy to manage and feed. They will help me to grow my farm and have a lot of livestock.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is access to foodstuffs all the time throughout the months. During the last four months, I was always able to acquire items for the household either through buying or credit. Most people can give me foodstuffs on credit because they know that I can pay for them. There is a time when I was going to visit a friend in a faraway place but did not have some good clothes befitting that occasion. I went to a trader and took a nice dress that I really loved. I dressed very well and happily visited my friend. GD has really y made my life better.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will have improved a lot in the next six months. I will be a livestock owner. I believe that my sheep will have multiplied already. This will then be a source of income. I really desire to achieve this before the transfers end in the next few months. The reason why I want to keep sheep is that I can utilize the small space I have on my land to raise them and earn from the venture.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The life we were living as a family was a devastating one. Every aspect of life was really hard starting from the household programs to the farming activities. I thank God that GiveDirectly came into our village and gave us great support. At least there is now much tangible difference in my life compared to then. We have livestock and our farms have been cultivated and planted which is a great improvement which is promising in the food security sector. Thanks to GiveDirectly for the great support.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
For a long time now I have been contemplating a way to source enough money so that I can buy a sheep which I later made to buy after accumulating the savings from GiveDirectly transfers. Now that I have achieved with ease, I have a new goal to start poultry farming. I intend to start by the construction of the chicken coop using this month's transfers and then will later purchase hens after completion. I am determined to complete this project so that it can start running in the next four months.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in my last four months is the presence of a sheep which I purchased using giveDirectly money. Although the transfer has been coming in bits, I have been able to purchase a sheep through a merry-go-round which we started with other fourteen members who are also receiving the transfers. Before purchasing, we were thinking with my wife of a way which will keep GiveDIrectly memories in our minds even after completion of our term. we have managed to accomplish that goal and we feel it's the biggest difference in our daily life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Since I have been running a lot of successful projects at home since I started receiving the transfers, I am determined that In the next six months I will have completed the establishment of the poultry farming unit. I have put forward this scheme with the profitability which comes with it in mind. I have seen from my other neighbors who started some months ago, theirs are fully established now and they are earning from the project. I also expect that in the next six months I would have completed the establishment of my project.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because my daughter is no longer being sent back home from school. Before, my child was being sent home after every two weeks to collect school fees and would at times stay at home for a whole week before going back to school. This had affected her studies so much and she had started lagging behind in class. I am now glad because she has started improving in her performance at school as she now gets enough time to dedicate to her studies because I am now able to pay her school fees on time. I use part of my transfers and the money I get from the sale of milk to gather for her educational needs.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The only goal I now have is to clear paying school fees for my child in secondary school. I will be able to achieve this by using part of my monthly transfers and the money I will be getting through the sale of milk. Seeing my daughter prosper in life has been my daily prayer and I will be the happiest parent in the world the day I will see my daughter graduate.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I now own a cow unlike before. We formed a merry go round group in our village after receiving our first transfers and it is through the money I was given from the group that I was able to acquire this cow. I was not able to own one before because the little money I get from doing any available work was enough for me to gather for my family needs. Owning this cow has brought a lot of changes in my daily life since I no longer buy milk like I used to do before. I have also been able to save the little amount of money I get through the sale of milk and use them to pay school fees for my daughter.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have finished paying school fees for my child. I will then start saving the money I would have otherwise used in paying school fees and use them to buy a goat. When this goat will have increased in number, I will be selling them one by one in order to use the money to pay college fees for my child so that she can further her studies. I value her education most because it is through it that she will be assured of a brighter future. I am sure that the knowledge she will gain during her studies will enable her to make wise decisions in life.
