How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The greatest change in my life is happiness in that I never imagined myself constructing a iron roofed house. Secondly I could not believe that I can afford two bulls at once on my own so my heart is filled with joy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What Give Directly did well that overwhelms my heart is liberating people from poverty because most people who could not afford to construct houses have done so.Give Directly allows people to budget for their own transfers. Give Directly is not affiliated to government which could have diverted recipients transfers to other administrative cost. Everything went on well in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought Bricks at ugx 660000, Livestock ugx 580000 and saved ugx 393000.
