How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I had no house and i never had a dream that some day i would have one, but with the transfer now i have built a house with iron sheets. Secondly i have managed to buy furniture (6 chairs). Hence my whole family is now living happily
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly did well in all levels of the project and i did not see anything lacking. This project has brought tangible and positive change among communities. Mine is just to say thank you GiveDirectly, continue developing us.

I spent my transfer on building a house and buying chairs at MK45000, the rest of the transfer was saved to be used later

I still don't understand how it is possible to have all this money, in my life I have grown up without seeing so much money

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have received this programme whole heartedly and I'm super excited,i plan to use the transfer to buy food especially maize and building a big house thats all i have ever wanted.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during morning hours because I'm always happy that i have wake up alive and healthy
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship on this household is lack of food and money,I'm a farmer yes but with lack of adequate farm inputs like fertiliser i don't get to yield much products as a result I'm always a victim of hunger,if i could find a way to eliminate this problem I'm sure things can get better for me.
