How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: Yes, Before the coming of givedirectly in my community i use to sell drinks but when givedirectly enter my community i decided to expand my business.
Therefore from a shop i decided to expand my business to a mini bar and extra shop for clothes business as well.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: Givedirectly did extremely well with this program, especially when it comes to my children school fees this semester i could not afford at all but thank God for givedirectly.
I lost my spouse few years back and i have four children it is because of givedirectly cash transfer they are all in school presently.
With the present
givedirectly cash transfer i even send my children in Monrovia for better education and i am sending their school fees everytime from the business i use my transfers to set up.
Am am most grateful to givedirectly for this cash transfers.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: I spent the most of my transfer on expanding my business from a drink shop to mini bar and i also added clothes business on my business.
I spent part of my transfer on paying my daughter graduation fees which was a pressing issue at the time.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to invest my third transfer into my business to enable me take care of my children.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my mind GiveDirectly do well because they help me with money to take care of my family. I have not seeing anything that GiveDirectly did not do well.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to improve my business with my recent transfer. I was selling before but didn't have enough money to buy more things for my business but now with my recent transfer, I bought more goods to improve my business and used portion to pay my children school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing well because they are giving us money for us to help our children in school and help ourself. In my mind GiveDirectly has not done anything bad for me to see.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy for receiving my first transfer, even thou I was making business but it was very difficult with me until I received my transfer.

The difference is having more money and ability to buy more goods

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to build a Morden house in the city( cestos) for business purpose. I have alway dream of building a decent house in the city that part of it will be used for rent and the the other for over night stay.
What is the happiest part of your day?
With all of the struggles I am going through, God has been faithful to I and the family. The joy came about when God spared my life and the life of my family to entered 2022 that today i am part of this givedirectly program.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
There are lots on my table to make life better( children school fees business and construction) but its difficult to do them reason is, money have become a serious challenge for me.
