How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I am happy to have built an iron sheet roofed house which was my intentions all along but I just didn't financial strength, and givedirectly gave me that strength to achieve my wish.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money to build iron sheet roofed houses which will be of value to families in the long run; and there's nothing it hasn't done well our village.

I spent all my second transfer to complete building my iron sheet roofed house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, am very happy because I have been in position to construct an iron roofed house, which is going to relief me from the burden of renovating my huts yearly, in so doing enabling me concentrate on looking for school fees for my children.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy then woke up my wife and we thanked God together for bringing Give Directly.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for purchasing materials for constructing an iron roofed house for my self; 12 pieces of iron bars at 318,000 ugx, a trip of aggregate at 260,000 ugx, 8 bags of cement at 228,00 ugx, atrip of sand at 100,000 ugx, binding wire plus ring wire at 90,000 ugx, transporting materials at 30,000 ugx and labour for building at 460,000ugx. I also spent 71,000 ugx for repairing my motor bike, lent 100,000 ugx to my younger brother and food at 43,000 ugx.

My happiest part of the day is in the evening.This is usually after having a nice meal.

My biggest hardship is lack of enough money to construct a comfortable shelter for my household.
