What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am a chicken farmer. My project failed because of lack of adequate resources(structure, food, and veterinary care). I am planning to review my business once I start receiving my transfers from Givedirectly. I am certain that this venture will me financial liberation which is my greatest challenge at this point.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The peace and tranquility in my family are what I rejoice the most. Despite the daily financial battles we are facing, the sanctuary I get from my family is unmatched. Home is the only place I loved to be after a day's work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My brokerage job does not give me financial security. Its returns are also way too low to sustain our needs as a family. This has made it almost impossible for us to realize our dreams because whatever we reap goes from hand to mouth.
