How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There is a big change in my life, I have got back my land after paying off mortgage. This transfer has facilitated me to make my own bricks which is a step and I'm hopeful of constructing my own iron roofed house. Before , I was hopeless with no farm land and famine persisted in my household.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well by first and foremost thinking about the poor which made them deliver such finacial support to us. Their staff are humble and speak to us with respect, they did well to sensitize us on different ways we could spend our transfers. They are perfectly doing well and I have nothing to say that they aren' t doing well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for making and burning 9,000 bricks which I intend to use for constructing an iron roofed house. The balance of the money, I spent on paying school fees and purchasing food.
