How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Ever since I received the cash gift from Give Directly in December 2020 up to now 3 months later, my life has completely changed. I have been able to buy items that I did not think I could be able to have. Firstly, I bought iron sheets that I will roof my house soon after construction is done. Secondly, I was able to buy clothes and beddings. I have never cover myself with a blanket before. I used to cover myself with mosquito nets that ministry of health was contributing free of charge country wide. At the moment, I am able to cover myself with the most beautiful blanket and sleeping on the matress because of GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Everything went on well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought building materials such as bricks, timber and frames that will be used to construct a house.
