How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am more hopeful that in the next few months, I will have finished building my house with the help of the transfers from GiveDirectly. Building a house involves lots of resources and it reached a point where I was almost giving up building but fortunately, the monthly transfers with some income of my farm allowed me to keep on finishing the house.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal is to save and buy a dairy cow for rearing. This will be an additional source of income for my family from the sale of milk produced
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am happy that these transfers helped purchase materials used to finish building my house. Am glad that I am in the final touches on this project and excited that I will soon be living in my new house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I have a plot in the nearby center that I started building before I ran out of funds and left it hanging. My expectation in the near future, therefore, is to finish up the project. Once complete, I will lease out the building for commercial use and through that, I will have a monthly income from rent. The income will help meet my family's basic needs and improve my financial strength.

My children will also have enough milk for their consumption and it will improve their health as their nutrition will have improved. Apart from it being a source of income, I will also be able to save the money I would otherwise use in buying milk.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the near future is to buy a piece of land where I will build my house. I will also use part of the transfer to start a business next to my house where I do not need any other expense for transportation. This will be a family asset and will be a source of income for my family. All these are aimed at improving my family's financial status.
