What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a cow for ploughing given that I am a farmer. I also built a house where my children could sleep from. They used to sleep from my father's house which was not good. I thank GiveDirectly for the money.

I spent most of the second transfer to build a spacious house, since l was staying in a very small house that could not accommodate me with my family. The remaining balance l spent to buy 2 sacks of maize for my consumption.

I spent my first transfer on buying sheep for rearing and uniform for my children as they were going to school with torn clothes.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I had just borrowed 150 KES from a neighbor so that I can buy my family supper when I received a notification of the transfer. I was very excited about this. I prayed loudly to thank God for what He has done in my life.

My proudest achievement is that I was able to buy sheep with my first income when I was a mechanic and today I have a heard of sheep.

My biggest hardship is lack of a stable job that makes it hard to earn a living and support my family.

My happiest part of the day is daytime because I can by good luck get a job during this time and earn something from it.
