How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes I do have new goals that I did not have before receiving the transfers. I have decided to improve my house . My house was in bad condition and was made of strolls. I have managed to buy bricks and iron sheets so that I can have a better house which will be more homely to my family. Having a house made of strolls is challenging as it leaks during the raining season and damage some of my properties
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my option GD is doing well by helping people with cash transfers. We are able to build better houses and to buy things we thought we would not buy with the transfers. I am praying that GD does the same for other villages.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my recent on buying iron sheets so that I can put a new roof on my house, this is because my house had a roof made of strolls which made t very difficult for me and my family during the raining season as the house would leak.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving money from givedirectly means that the organisation wants to end poverty which is common among us here. Being poor people it is very difficult for us to get our needs. Therefore this money will help us to get necessities such as food, clothes and many more
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is afternoon because it is when i am back from field and stay together with my family
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is leaving in a very poor shelter which leaks during rainy season. For many years i have failed to build a good house and my life had been pathetic.
