How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now because i have finished building my house. i started building my house before the transfers, i only managed to build the wall , i failed to finish because the little money i had had finished and i paused the project. since i received my transfers i have finished building my house and shortly we will be moving in our new house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
i feel like everything is done very well and i cant identify something that is not done well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
when i received my second transfer i bought materials for building my house and the remaining amount was used to buy food.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt existed the moment I got the first transfer because I knew all my loans will be paid and I will be a free person.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has changed now to better. At first I used to farm without applying fertiliser but it will be different this year because I have managed to buy fertiliser for my whole farm. In addition I have managed to pay back my long-term loan.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I use the money to pay for loan. I also bought food and iron sheets using the first transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm so grateful that i will receive this money each and every one of us has plans on how we will use this money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm always happy in tge evening hours because that's when I get to find money to feed my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is having sufficient food,a proper place to live and sleep,clothes aswell as medical care.
