What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought 10 iron sheets for 6,700 KES, poles for 2,850 KES, nails for 1,000 KES and paid 2,000 KES as labour to enlarge my house. I also bought barbed wire for 5,200 KES and cedar posts for 5,000 KES to fence my compound. I spent 15,000 KES to pay school fees (Secondary school) and 5,000 KES on school uniforms and 10,000 KES on buying a solar panel. (Added money from other sources)
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have been able to enlarge my house and now it is comfortable and spacious enough to live in and also I have been able to pay school fees for my children and this has given me great relief.

l spend 7000 kshs to pay school fees the remaining balance l use to buy two sucks of maize.

l am planning to extend my house because it is too small, l also need to clear school fees for my child and start secondhand cloth business.

I plan to pay school fees and to expand my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement am proudest of is this far I have come. My husband passed away two years after our marriage, after that I was harassed by my in laws who didn't want me around. I saved money earned from the casual jobs I do through women groups which I used to buy land and build this house. I feel proud because now am happy and leaving peacefully with my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face now is lack of a sustainable income source to sustain my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is whenever somebody sends me cash.
