I bought 10 iron sheets for 6,700 KES, poles for 2,850 KES, nails for 1,000 KES and paid 2,000 KES as labour to enlarge my house. I also bought barbed wire for 5,200 KES and cedar posts for 5,000 KES to fence my compound. What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement am proudest of is this far I have come. My husband passed away two years after our marriage, after that I was harassed by my in laws who didn't want me around. I saved money earned from the casual jobs I do through women groups which I used to buy land and build this house. I feel proud because now am happy and leaving peacefully with my children.

The biggest hardship I face now is lack of a sustainable income source to sustain my family.

The happiest part of my day is whenever somebody sends me cash.
