What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying two cows. I took one to my maternal home as dowry payment given that my husband passed on without doing so as tradition require of me. The other I am rearing. I am happy I have done this and fulfilled our traditions. I also added my stock. I sell secondhand clothes and now I do not have to work in people's farms to make ends meet for my family as I make profits from my business.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used a larger portion of the transfer to built a new iron roofed house. I bought 2 sheep with a portion of the transfer. I purchased other household items with a portion of the transfer. I also expanded my second hand clothes business with the rest of the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest in my daily life is that I now own a large house which accommodate all my property. I had a small house and had to buy only a few basic things which could go in. Apart from that, the second hand clothes business is thriving well and generate reasonable income for my family sustainability.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent most of my first transfer to pay college fees for my son who is undertaking a mechanical course. I also bought a bag of maize for my family's consumption.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My first plan is to use part of the transfer to build a bigger house because, this one is small and is in a bad condition. Secondly, I plan to use another part to invest in my small business of selling second-hand clothes to boost the stock. Lastly, I plan to use the remaining amount to buy a cow that would in future, provide us with milk for family use.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Having started my business of selling second-hand clothes, which has been my main source of income, is the achievement I'm very proud of.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Paying school levies for my three children in primary school, is the biggest hardship I have faced.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon, when I'm selling clothes to my customers at the market with expecting of getting some income for my family.
