How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because l am now able to sleep comfortably without turning every now and then at night because of uncomfortability. I am also staying in a very spacious house.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start saving the transfer that I usually receive from GiveDirectly with the aim of buying a dairy cow for rearing. Once I have this cow, the milk produced will be used for household consumption and the rest for commercial use.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is full of hope and better whises for the future. I am able to buy drugs that have greatly improved my heath status. I can easily do my duties without involving anyone neither depening on someone else. I feel so happy being that I am no longer a bother and the gossip of the village, who could go begging for food and support.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My ambition is to improve on my farms for better harvest. With good preparation procedures, I expect good yields and better return. Subsistence farming is the main occupation that I fully depend on. I also intend to do some horticultural farming as an additional activity to add on my income. I have a land that borders a seasonal canal which can support the growth of vegetables during dry season. I believe that the shortage of vegetables that we experience during dry seasons in this community, will be a great opportunity for me as a supplier, extending to the neighborhood as well. This will increase my economic power to provide for my household sustainably.

The biggest difference in my daily life is improved nutrition. I have been able to take breakfast, lunch and supper which was not very possible in the previous months. Nowadays, I feel stronger and healthier being that I no longer have the stress and worries on what to eat. The meals are full of balanced diet and in satisfying quantities. Some ailments of malnutrition are gone stories. I have been able to pay school fees for my granddaughter who is a partial orphan. She has improved in her accademic performance, being that she never misses lessons and exams. I make timely payments before they are sent home..
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My ambition is to buy a cow in the next six months. This will provide me with milk that hopefully will improve on my nutrition and cash flow as I shall sell surplus. I also intend to make some ghee that fetches well in our local markets. With increased sources of income, I will be reasonably liberated from the bondage of poverty.
