What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy building materials like iron sheets, timber and nails which I used to expand the house which I was living in to be more spacious. I bought livestock for rearing and also to provide my family with milk. The remaining amount, I spent to buy a sack of maize for consumption and also bought some clothes for my family
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have livestock which makes me very proud and also I managed to prepare my land using tractor earlier than I always before. This would not have been possible without the transfers

I spent my first transfer on two goats valued 5,000 KES and clothing for my family valued 3,000KES since we have always wanted to breed goats for sale and the money provided us with the ''seed''.In addition, my family members had tattered clothes but can these days dress decently because of the transfer.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly, we intend to use part of the transfer to buy two cows that would provide us with milk, and also sell the surplus to the villagers for an income to the family. Secondly, we plan to use another part of the transfer to extend this our house, because it is small. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to start a small business of selling chickens to the villagers.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am very proud of is, having bought a cow that is currently providing us with milk, using our savings from sugar cane growing activities.

The biggest hardship we are facing is paying school fees for our daughter, who is in secondary school, in form two.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon, when I am relaxing at home, after finishing my farming activities.
