What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy some cattle and paid school fees for my daughter in secondary school. I used to beg so that my daughter could go to school but that has since changed since I got the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer beg to send my daughter to school as I have my own cattle that I now bank on to pay her fees. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

I spent my first transfer on a mattress which I did not have, a bag of corn to supply food for my household and clothes for my children. I used the balance to weed my farm.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Paying for the school fees of all my children and mostly the one in high school is a very big challenge to me because most of the time when she is chased away from school to come and get the arrears I feel very bad when I can't provide it to her and she is forced to remain at home while her colleagues are in school
What is the happiest part of your day?
The evenings are my happiest hours since it is the only time when I can sit back and relax with my family and sometimes friends to just talk,have a good laugh after a hard days work.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I feel very happy and lucky to be amongst the people who will be receiving this money since now I will be able to expand my business and even engage my wife too. More importantly,I will be able to educate my children
