How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
yes i have a new goal, the new goal is to help my siblings financially, and it was very possible to do so when i received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by giving us cash directly to buy things we may lack in our lives, on the other hand it doesn't do well in a way that not everyone is able to receive the money.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
i spent my transfer on building a house and also buying some furniture for the house

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so excited and very grateful as at that time did not have any money..So the money came at a time that I needed it the most.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference is that I now have a fence around my house so it is well secured and protected. I am now able to eat three times a day as I have enough food in the house..Also, with the money I am able to satisfy my cravings as a pregnant woman(when I feel like buying chips and cold drinks, I go ahead and purchase without thinking twice). Lastly, I have enough clothes and wrappers to change when going out.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my first cash transfer to purchase bricks which were used in building a fence around my house..I also bought glasses so that my house could be improved. The other part of the money was used to purchase 3 bags of maize to top up on the few bags that I already had..I then purchased clothes,,wrappers(zitenje) since I am expecting a child. Lastly, I bought some basic necessities such as soap, cooking oil and salt..

I am very happy in the Afternoon hours because of the sun and fresh air
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I got divorced two years ago ever since I have been trying very hard to make ends meet and that hit me hard
