How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I was able to clear my school fees for the last term which saw me stay in school and passing my exams due to the ample time I get studying instead of worrying about where to get school fees next. I have also been able to contribute together with some of my family members towards buying food for our own consumption that lasts us a whole month. I am also a proud owner of a bunch of new clothes. I now have very presentable ones, not the tattered ones I have always had.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of saving more of my transfers and venturing into livestock farming to help in the financial security for the family. plan to save some more and buy livestock for rearing for my own financial security.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am more independent now. I would depend on relatives and friends to even buy a simple meal to leave alone to buy clothes or pay for my school fees. My parents really struggle financially so they have not been able to provide for both my sibling s and I the way we would want to. I have been able to pay my own school fees without burdening them with the hustle to raise my fees. I now have ample time studying in school and I am grateful to GIveDirectly for that.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to pay for my school fees some more by saving the transfers to avoid begging my relatives to pay my school fees. This will give me an easy time to concentrate on my studies. I also plan to buy livestock for rearing to help in securing my future financially and also buy building materials like poles, nails, iron sheets build to use in building a new house as I do not have a house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments from GiveDirectly is I have been able to pay my school fees. This was not the case before, I had to work during the holidays to pay up my school fees. Sometimes I was sent home for school fees and I was forced to skip a whole term.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months with the transfers from GD, I expect to be in school with minimal distractions caused by fee breaks. I anticipate being settled in school with a nill fee balance.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from how it would have been had I never received the transfer in that I can afford to pay my school fees and stay in school without being sent home for school fees. This is a miracle to me. I remember how I used to skip school because of school fees and my situation forced me to do casual work to raise my school fees. GD is a savior.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My goal is to finish my studies and help my younger siblings with their school fees and general upkeep.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
“The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is that, in our family, we are a total of eleven people to be taken care of, and my father who is asoul bread winner is unable to fulfill our demand more so payment of my school fees since he is an elderly person.”
What is the happiest part of your day?
“My happiest part of the day is night, because this is the time i am back from school, and join family members especially at the table taking dinner together.”

“I am planning to use this transfer to pay school fees since, i am still a high school student.”

“The achievement that i am proud of is passing my class eight examinations, which has made me to join secondary school.”
